Bio:

Patrick Allen has over 25 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Collins Aerospace, a division of United Technologies (now Raytheon Technologies), a global supplier of systems and services to the aerospace industry. In this role, he led the worldwide finance team of 3,000 professionals, supporting over 300 manufacturing and service locations globally. He successfully integrated the new finance leadership team, resulting from the largest aerospace merger in history, the merger of Rockwell Collins and UTC Aerospace Systems. He also led the synergy capture and reporting, driving significant recurring cost savings and revenue opportunities.

Prior to this, Mr. Allen served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Collins Aerospace’s predecessor company, Rockwell Collins, a global supplier of systems and services to the aerospace industry. In this capacity, he was responsible for leading the finance team of over 1,000 professionals, with over 80 manufacturing and service locations worldwide. He oversaw all aspects of the company’s finance function. In addition, he provided financial and strategic leadership, concerning planning, due diligence, and negotiation of the sale to United Technologies in a transaction valued at $30 billion. Mr. Allen also drove the company to increase revenues 300% to over $8.5 billion while expanding operating margins impressively.

In 2001, Mr. Allen served as Vice President, Controller, and Treasurer at Rockwell Collins, where he was responsible for leading two critical financial functions for the division of Rockwell International that had just been spun off as an independent public company.

Before the spin-off of the Avionics division of Rockwell International as Rockwell Collins in 2001, Mr. Allen served as Vice President and Treasurer at Rockwell International. He joined Rockwell International, a company that served a range of products and services, including aerospace, automotive, factory automation, and semiconductors, in 1994 as Manager of External Financial Reports.

Since 2011, Mr. Allen has served on the Board of Alliant Energy Corp, a public utility based in Madison, WI.
